Eye Buy Direct Review & Giveaway

I have worn glasses since the 5th grade and contacts since the 7th grade! I wear contacts all day but when I get home from work I put my glasses on to give my eyes a break, especially since I stare at the computer screen all day! I didn’t realize until I had moved away from home how expensive glasses were. I try to get a new pair like every other year. My eyes are terrible and to avoid coke-bottle lenses, I buy very thin lenses which cost a fortune.

I was so excited to find out about Eye Buy Direct. I bought a pair of glasses this year at Costco and was happy with them but was astonished to see how much cheaper the glasses were at Eye Buy Direct. I have a bunch of pairs of old glasses here so I was able to see what size frames fit my face the best and started to browse.

The first thing I couldn’t get over was the prices. They are just shockingly low. I was thrilled with the selection and loved their “Wall of Frame” where you have the ability to upload your photo and “try on” glasses virtually. How cool!
I narrowed it down to a couple of choices and finally decided on the “philly” model pictured above. I pulled out my written prescription, entered it in and called Costco (where I got my last pair of glasses) to get my pupillary distance measurement. I was able to choose between different thicknesses of lenses as well as anti-scratch and anti-glare. My total came to under $100 and I couldn’t be happier with the pair I received! They fit my face well and the prescription is perfect!

Eye Buy Direct has a large selection of men’s and women’s frames including rimless, bifocals, and progressives. There truly is something for everyone and at these prices getting a new pair more frequently than you might have is definitely an option.
